Student Success Statement - Marcus Aurelius

Student Success Statement

“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it.”

--Marcus Aurelius
Roman Emperor from 161 AD to 180 AD

When you witness something that is not right and is not true, what goes through your head? I would say: why did that person do something like that in the first place?!?
Sometimes we do not know why people do such wrongly things. They do not have a conscience they do not think before they act. They do not ask themselves before asking others. Next time you want to do something, ask yourself: is it right? If you can answer no, then do no do it, if you know it is false; do not say it! Very easily you can distinguish right from wrong and choose the right.
